Online Webinar: Policy Dialogue on Migration and Tourism

Migration has long been a driving force for social, cultural, and economic transformation across Europe. Yet, the contributions of immigrants—particularly within tourism and related industries—often remain underrepresented in mainstream narratives. The event seeks to challenge this gap by highlighting real experiences, data-driven insights, and inclusive strategies that strengthen immigrant participation in tourism ecosystems.

Organized on the occasion of International Migrants Day 18th of December 2025 under the theme Contributions of Immigrants and Their Rights, this conference brings together leaders from academia, government, and the private sector to move beyond dialogue toward concrete actions that foster equitable participation, representation, and innovation. 

The event underscores the importance of recognizing immigrants not as beneficiaries of integration policies, but as active contributors and co-creators of a more resilient and inclusive tourism economy.
