Dare to experiment.
That is the invitation RTP LAB is extending through the 2026 Multiplatform Content Call: to challenge emerging talent to turn ideas into projects and explore new ways of creating content for the digital landscape. To ensure this opportunity reaches as many young creators as possible, we would greatly appreciate your support in sharing this initiative with your community.
Since 2016, RTP LAB has operated as a creative and experimental hub, fostering new approaches to content production designed for multiplatform distribution and tailored to the evolving ways audiences consume media. At the same time, it has provided emerging creators with the opportunity to develop original projects and experiment with new ways of telling stories. This creative lab has given rise to projects such as Ecos do Mar, Astro-Mano, Prisma, 3000 Depois de Cristo, Sangue & Mármore, Três Tristes Tigres, Desassossego, Lugar 54, Frágil, #CasaDoCais, among many other series, documentaries and formats that are now part of the RTP ecosystem.
This year's call welcomes projects across a variety of genres and formats that explore new narrative possibilities, innovative ways of engaging audiences, or distinctive approaches to content creation and distribution. The call is open to original proposals in fiction, comedy, documentary, infotainment and other formats developed specifically for digital platforms.
Applications are open until 19 September and can be submitted via the online form available at https://lab.rtp.pt/call-for-entries/.
The full regulations and additional information are available on the RTP LAB website. For any questions, please contact consultartplab@rtp.pt.
