FÉRTIL 2026: The Festival That Brings Us Together Returns in October

Environment, community, culture and innovation come together on 3 - 4 October for two days of sharing, creativity and building a more sustainable future.

On 3 and 4 October, FÉRTIL returns to bring together people, ideas and projects around sustainability, culture, community and innovation.

Organised by MOCES, FÉRTIL aims to be more than just a festival: it is a space for meeting, learning and participation, encouraging reflection and action around more conscious, inclusive and sustainable ways of living and building community.

Throughout the two days, the programme brings together music, art, workshops, talks, gastronomy and activities for all ages, creating opportunities to discover projects, exchange experiences and connect people who want to contribute to a more sustainable and collaborative Algarve.

For Algarve Evolution, initiatives such as FÉRTIL also demonstrate how innovation can emerge at the intersection of different areas — technology, environment, culture, creativity and social impact — and through the ability to mobilise communities around the challenges and opportunities of the region.
